Pille Pettai-Stasiulis is a sworn advocate and partner in the field of transactions. Pille has nearly 20 years of legal experience. She mainly advises clients in the fields of real estate and construction law, as she has extensive practical experience in real estate development and transactions, which includes advising both local and international companies on commercial, office and other types of real estate and development projects, as well as acquisitions and disposals.
Pille’s experience includes advising on one of the largest real estate transactions in the Baltics to date – a transaction valued at more than 100 million euros. Pille has considerable experience in all stages of a real estate transaction including negotiations, auditing, preparing the necessary documentation and closing the transactions. Furthermore, Pille has been the advisor on multiple real estate developments from start to finish, helping clients in acquiring vacant lots and developing commercial buildings, preparing lease agreements and negotiating with the lessees, up to selling the development (e.g. Veerenni Health Center and Confido Medical Clinic in Tallinn).
Pille has also participated in advising on multiple leasing transactions, including sale and leaseback transactions, rental agreements and managing the lease portfolios of shopping centres.
The reputable international publication The Legal 500 has highlighted Pille Pettai-Stasiulis in the field of real estate law. Pille is a long-time collaborative partner of the Estonian Association of Real Estate Firms.
In addition to her real estate experience, Pille has broad knowledge and experience in mergers and acquisitions. She has also been active in the field of regulations for 7 years, advising management companies in everyday matters and throughout the licensing process (e.g. the management company 4Times Capital AS) until the issuing of the license. Pille has also been involved in the founding of multiple investment funds. Additionally, she has advised a client on the licensing process for a service trading virtual currency for a fiat currency.
